MAAYLZY started with two familiar frustrations: watching online shoppers guess at size and hope for the best, and watching in-store shoppers dread the fitting-room queue. Both come down to the same gap - people cannot see how something looks and fits before they commit.
Fashion retail asks a lot of imagination. A flat photo online, a rushed changing room in-store - in both places, the shopper is left to picture the outcome and take a risk. When the risk does not pay off, it comes back as a return, a lost sale, and a customer who trusts the next purchase a little less.
We built MAAYLZY to close that gap with one engine that renders a garment onto the shopper, recommends a size from real proportions, and finishes the look with pieces the retailer actually stocks. The same engine runs on a product page and on a smart mirror, so the experience does not fall apart the moment a shopper walks from the website into the store.
We are deliberate about the sensitive part of this work. A try-on relies on a shopper's likeness and body data, and we treat that with the care it deserves - holding it only as long as a render needs it. That principle is not a footnote for us; it is part of the product.
